What is Hedione?
Methyl dihydrojasmonic acid is a colorless or pale yellow transparent liquid. It is one of the most popular synthetic fragrances, favored by perfumers. Previously, due to its price, it was mainly used in high-end perfume formulations, but it is now widely used in cosmetic fragrance formulations. It is chemically stable and does not discolor, and is often used in the formulation of jasmine, lily of the valley, tuberose, and oriental fragrances, giving them an elegant and realistic natural floral scent. It is used in cosmetics and also in food.
